The Benefits of Attending the AWT Annual Convention and Exposition

I am looking forward to the Association of Water Technologies (awt.org) Annual Convention and Exposition, September 13‒16 in Grand Rapids, MI. This is a gathering of water treaters from across the country, including representatives from Canada, Central and South America, Europe, Africa, and Australia.

The exhibition hall will be filled with more than 130 suppliers to the water treatment industry who will be showcasing the latest and greatest technologies. These suppliers come armed with technical expertise to answer questions and improve industry knowledge.

What I enjoy most are the presentations of technical papers concerning water treatment. These presentations also include business-related topics that are presented by dynamic, thought-provoking speakers. I am especially excited to hear Pat Williams, this year’s keynote speaker, who will be discussing “The Seven Keys to Leadership in the 21st Century.”

Another major benefit of attending this convention is networking. Here, you will have the opportunity to share your questions and challenges with others who have the same passion for the industry. Meet old friends, make new friends, learn, laugh, and have a great time. This is an event you will want to be a part of. I hope to see you in Grand Rapids!
